ABOUT ME

Jennifer Katharina Zahnen | HSE NRW

I am a graduate engineer in mechanical engineering with a focus on environmental management and have also obtained a Master of Science in "Water and the Environment".

My professional career took me to renowned companies such as Cemecon, Toho Tenax and Real Alloy as an HSE manager, where I was responsible for the operational implementation of occupational safety, fire protection and environmental management.

Since 2018 I have been running my own engineering office for HSE.

As an external occupational safety specialist (SiFa), fire safety officer (BSB) and environmental officer, I support companies in designing safe, healthy and legally compliant workplaces, minimizing risks and managing costs efficiently.

My approach combines legal compliance, practical solutions, and economic efficiency, delivering clear added value to companies: reduced risks, motivated employees, and sustainable processes. I stand for holistic HSE services that unite technical excellence, legal certainty, and human responsibility. My aim is to make companies not only safer, but also more sustainable and future-proof – with clear processes, sound advice, and a deep understanding of practical realities.
